Why is the front windshield of the car oblique?

You may find out that you often find the car, the front windshield of the car is oblique, and the bus is straight, why?

The first, the aesthetic problem. From a visual perspective, the circular gives a softer, more comfortable feel, and the square looks more tough. Most of the big cars are mainly based on functionality, such as buses and trucks, and aesthetics is not in such an important position.

Second, the problem of resistance. When the car travels to a certain speed, if the wind resistance is too large, it will not only affect the power of the car, but also increase fuel consumption. By designing the front windshield of the car to be inclined, the wind resistance can be effectively reduced, and the streamlined body can reduce the wind resistance to a low level. Most large vehicles, such as buses and large trucks, are inherently less demanding, and because of their size, they are often limited in speed. Therefore, the effect of wind resistance on speed is not as important as that of a car.

Third, security issues. The car is designed to be tilted to effectively avoid the "mirror imaging effect." Because the car is very low, dark roads or roadside buildings become the "base color" of the glass. If installed vertically, the glass is like a mirror, and the image and seat of the car will be reflected on the glass to form a virtual image, which will interfere with the driver's normal judgment. The bus and the large truck are high in height, and the vertical glass background is a light sky. The virtual image formed by the people and objects in the car is basically not displayed, and the interference caused to the driver is almost zero.
