Nippon Sheet Glass Group Announces New US Address

Nippon Sheet Glass Group announced that it will establish a new glass factory in the United States.

The Japan Plate Glass Group announced in May this year that the company will expand the production scale of online transparent conductive film glass. The establishment of a new US factory can better meet the needs of the solar market.

The new 500,000-square-foot facility in Troy, Ohio, will begin operations in the spring of 2019 and is expected to be officially commissioned in the second half of 2020.

This new float glass production line is the first production line built by the Japan Plate Glass Group in the United States since 1980 and is expected to bring 125-150 new jobs to the local area.
