Guardian Glass Project: Alpine Shelter

Alpine Shelter is a modern camp designed by the Harvard Graduate School of Design for extreme environments.

Among the many designs submitted by Harvard Architecture students, Katie McDonald, Erin Pellegrino and Frederick Kim's solutions stood out and were selected. Alpine Shelter is now located in Skuta Mountain, Slovenia, where the climate is very harsh. However, the building not only provides a safe place for climbers in extreme weather conditions, but also creates a comfortable internal living environment.

In terms of doors and windows, the designer chose Guardian Glass, a world-experienced and skilled glass supplier, as its main partner.

The neutral appearance of Guardian glass products allows the camp to blend as much as possible into the surrounding natural environment. The low reflection function of the product allows the interior occupants to have a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, day or night.
